... not that anybody is looking for how I'm doing, but I do like doing these little status updates, inspired by the lovely Lisa.
So, here goes
Sitting... at my desk, watching the rain.
Drinking...water.
Eating...oatmeal cookie dough (they're baking in the oven).
Feeling...lethargic... it's been a rather cloudy day.
Excited...about getting Sandra McCracken's CD, "Red Balloon." I had it on iTunes, but when I got my new computer, I decided to buy the "real thing" so I could have the liner notes.
Shameless...waster of time today.
Shocked...at how often young Christian boys use the word "booty;" and I know it's not a reference to pirate ships or the things we put on babies' feet.
Watching...the rain.
Wondering...when my hubby will be home from his meeting. He's been gone all day.
Outside...mild, but wet and grey. A day right out of the childhood of Jane Eyre.
Amazed...at how the weather dictates our moods at times.
Finished...the book Teaching to Change Lives. It was okay. I started out really enjoying it, but I found it got a little repetitive as it went on. It was full of numerous amusing wisecracks and pithy conclusions, but didn't really contain anything common sense wouldn't dictate. Still an enjoyable read.
Pondering...the youth at my church and wishing desperately that they would get a vision for the riches of God's word.
Resting...in the knowledge that God is in control of the youth situation.
