Not exactly graceful

Well, I did it. I finally got started on knitting a sock.

I have knitted with four needles before, but they were considerably larger than these ones for sock making, and the wool was considerably thicker. It took me quite a while to get going. Fortunately, my good friend Jo-Ann gave me some tips this morning, and now, I have about 2 inches of a sock.

I'm on my way. Next year, Christmas socks for everyone!
