Why my husband is the best husband in the world

I feel bad for Buggy today, because he's feeling under the weather. In fact, the guy, who usually can sleep through anything was up at 4:00 a.m. with a snuffly nose. He ended up going downstairs to spend the rest of the night because he didn't want to keep me up.

So, here is the reason why my hubby is the best hubby ever.

First, he's very smart. He has a degree in math. He can do calculus and maths that are so abstract that they don't use numbers. He is also very logical and reasonable. He understands science and stuff, too, in addition to enjoying literature.

He is very patient with people's weaknesses. He seldom loses his cool. He doesn't say snarky things to people or put them in their place. Inwardly, he may be very frustrated, but he doesn't blow his stack and say thing he'll regret later.

He puts up with me by not even batting an eyelash at some of my suggestions.
I have dragged him to quite a few "meet the internet friends" events, and he has gone along willingly. He indulges me in this activity with very little fuss.

He loves his children and loves to play with them. He laughs at the things they do, and he praises them for what they do right, all the while trying them to shun what is wrong.

When we go on long car rides, he doesn't make me drive on busy highways.

He isn't afraid to laugh at himself. Which is good, because there is plenty of fodder there.

He calls me almost every day before coming home from work to see if I need anything brought home.

He'll drive over an hour and a half to buy me a ring for Christmas, and then make the same trip again to exchange it for a bigger size.

He answers my questions thoughtfully.

He takes me seriously.

He will go out at the drop of a hat to buy chips for me.

He is not a follower of the crowd.

He gives good neck rubs.

He puts up with unruly employees and still manages come home in a pretty good mood. In fact, he generally arrives home in a good mood. The only time he really gets in a bad mood is when he hears screamo music.

There's lots more I could say, but I do have to ensure that I don't foster any egotism.

I hope you're having a good day honey.

If anybody else would like to say something praiseworthy about his or her spouse, I'll update this post later.

**UPDATE**

Well, I just nicely got home from being gone all day. Drove home through a nasty snow squall and had whiteout conditions. Glad to be home.

Anyway, I have found a few other participants in this "Praise Your Hubby" endeavour.

joythruchrist has a hubby who can cook, among other wonderful things.

Carla's hubby Kev brings her home dark chocolate and makes her laugh.

Lisa weighs in sharing about her hubby who sounds like he's good with babies!
