Thankful Monday

Today, I am thankful for the warm weather we're having. It's about 13 degrees Celsius, (55 F for the non-metric crowd) which is very unseasonable. Last year at this time, we had snow.

It was nice to have warm weather this morning, because I was able to go out for a walk with my coat hanging open. It was just gorgeous. This is more like what it should be in October. I missed a nice October this year. The leaves were always wet and soggy. Now they're just gone. But I'm thankful for this little bit of mild weather before the ice and snow set in.
